The secret to writing faster and with greater focus - Writing in his sleep!

One of the most powerful tools in my creative arsenal is what I call unconscious creativity.

No, I do not have to ask someone to brain me with a hammer and I did not even actually be unconscious. This is the moment I only allow my unconscious to do all the heavy lifting for me creatively. And 'the application of this method that allows me to write quickly to generate working as a journalist and several books, and a demanding job working full time and willSchool.

This method is based on the age-old advice "sleep on a problem." Have you ever concerned about a decision or to fight for something important before going to bed only to wake up the next morning to remember the answer is clear-cut in my head, as if it were a gift from the gods? It 's a gift of nature, but no outside agency is delivered to you. The answer was that you delivered your greatest ally in your creative subconscious.

Unconscious uses the power of creativityUnconscious. The simplest technique is incubation, where after thinking about the challenge aware for some time, is placed to the side and leave for a while '. Often a solution in mind spontaneously Pop, how the mind to continue working on the problem in your awareness.

The human brain is a highly functional and yet beautiful tool you use so little of its power. Our unconscious does amazing things for us. It helps in our daily need for coordinationuseful tasks such as walking, eating, breathing, driving. It stores memories for us, maintains control over those things that really matter to us (our values), reminds us believe what we do. Most of the time I think about these things (and many others), without the need for self-conscious about it - that's why it was called the unconscious, by the way!

However, there is something even more wonderful: it is able to sift and sort large amounts of data (the things we have seen, heard, said:hear, smell, taste) and pattern recognition and generate response mode. Sometimes he does it in wonderfully creative ways. We often overlook the potential of our subconscious and leave instead of worrying about how silly the name of our dental hygienist, and if we remembered to buy peanut butter. But it must not be so. With the unconscious as a creative tool is very simple.

Spend some time to think consciously about your challenge or write operation. Whatare the parameters of the project? What are the special requirements? What ideas do you have? What specific questions you need to decide what action? Sometimes even spend some 'time to write down ideas you have is a good idea. Do not work on the design or their organization. Just storing them on paper or computer files. They can not even need it later, but the registration process, a useful way for your subconscious to prepare their task.

Then forget it! This isright. Move on with your life and consciously think about something else. Review a different project. Read more for education or leisure.

The incubation period varies depending on the creative personality and, of course, the size of the project at hand. I found a couple of days usually works best, although still a couple of hours that can be beneficial. Doing something physical is often useful during the incubation period and sometimes this is the only time I really say gardening orHousework done!

If I were a novel, my subconscious allow me to work scene by scene through the book and often when I'm sitting at the computer I found the right words flow throw me, the scene plays in my head like a movie. I have several authors, who are able to make their dreams on the program, so that they literally heard in his sleep in writing. The vivid dreams as a picture, a sound like music, and as symbolic poetry. With this method, which can often write aScenes from a day (sometimes in less than an hour) pretty decent working progress, while maintaining a full-time and life.

While it is often scary to think about trust, something as important as the writing project of your heart to your subconscious, it may be useful to remember that your brain is a muscle tone-deaf. Your unconscious mind controls the muscles a lot for you all the time (try to imagine the way you walk, as you go really. I alwaysTravel, when I think too much of the action of walking and I have not, travel when I do not think.)

The same goes for great athletes. You're talking about the area. The area is simply the place where you can adjust the response and, without consciously thinking about what needs to be done. The body and the unconscious to handle all the details. Thinking too much can actually interfere with the area and that includes writing. Interestingly, a recent study by professional andamateur golfers have shown that amateur golfers had a significantly more aware of when playing a recording, like the pros. I bet something similar would occur when the experienced and inexperienced authors were reviewed.

Then give the creativity of the unconscious to try and see how far it takes you. Just program your subconscious and let it incubate for a moment. It may take some time to find a way to tap into your subconscious mind at the time of incubation. For somefree writing and journaling are used to unlock unconscious the fruits of your labor. I usually sit down and start business. E 'often slow going at first, but I try to discharge and at one point in my subconscious kicks in and the words begin and the keyboard starts clicking away.

Good luck with your writing!
