Craft Show Organizing 101

You did it! What you need to do is signed, a craft show .... now! Where to start? This is a dilemma most first time craft show participants (sometimes even us veterans) feel shortly before the show. I will help you some basic tips and some tricks of the trade to ensure that your show running smoothly and hopefully successfully.

The first and most important, be sure to read the rules and regulations of the show. The last thing you want is displayedand set your table with fancy lighting only to discover that you are not allowed to use up to 1000 lights. can use Note carefully that they provide a power source, only the amount of space and if there are restrictions on the display.

While you are preparing your exhibition space, is a great idea is to tape the size of your space is allocated in the basement or garage (with your stay, if you have), and imagine your entire screengo to your show. Especially if it's the first show. Be creative! A flat board with your hard work is not about them very carefully. A beautiful display need not be expensive either. boxes covered with fabric to get a pair of shoes, some plastic boxes and put some 'moss and twigs around them, with small shelves you can pick up cheap at a discount store ... use your imagination. Scatter small objects randomly on the screen, people are more than a little notePoint, they see several times, rather than many small items in a basket.

Once you set your ad as you like, you now have everything you need to pack for the show there and ready. They are less likely to forget things like that. Label your boxes and containers and loading them in your vehicle as you need it. You do not have that box of bracelets before you have the box with the table decorations. Some other elements, is that they are wovenPaper for your item to return (even if they are fragile, some people prefer their belongings were packed), put a tag bags sold, the documents (that you want a wobbly table), scissors, pens, tape, extra, the markers, sales pads, tape measure, string, glue, first aid kit, extra price tags, rubber bands, paper clips, mints, a copy of your inventory, small stapler, screwdriver, small hammer, business cards, business card holder, extension, replacement bulbs, power strips, adhesive tape (ribbon cables down);Notepad, Calculator, wire display, a sign with company name, and a copy of the certificate of tax sale. I know some, it sounds strange, but you'd be surprised.

Now, for yourself, you're going to want to bring a little 'things. Aspirin, tissues, paper towels, camera (a picture of your stand on the device), the cooler with soda and water, snacks, comfortable shoes, cell phone, chair pads, deodorant, extra socks, jacket or sweater , sunscreen, water bottle, wet wipes andExtra change of clothes (you never know what might happen) and a great attitude. I also recommend buying a cheap canvas apron and sewing or designing some bags that Velcro'd be disabled for your money in this way is more free-roaming and not bound to make moving around a table can. Be sure to bring change much. It 's a good idea, your items should be taxed on the price and round to the nearest dollar - so you do not have to worry about money.

Another great thing to have aGuestbook. You can create your own use or similar to the one you see at weddings. It 's a great way to get people to your mailing list. You could give away some samples of your business card, they seem appropriate. Everyone likes something for nothing. If you want a newsletter prints a bit 'of your goods in the bags.

Hopefully you have some tips for you and remember that you have not started crafting because it was found fun and you enjoy it, you should reflect on their show.Have fun! Share your love of crafting! And smile ... On your way!
